After being told that we would have to wait for a couple of weeks to have the car seen we noticed that a scary warning light had come on - you know the kind of thing - "Do not drive or run the risk of seriously damaging the most important systems". So, as we are a one car family, another phone call to the garage and we had an appointment for this afternoon.

Problem apparently wasn't the one we thought it was, but we've got a clean bill of health and spare parts for car phone will be here in a couple of weeks. They even washed the car and hoovered the carpets for us. So, will still be able to get to the Tori Amos gig in Glasgow tomorrow. Yaay!

PS The impromptu garage visit meant a prolonged spell in Broughty Ferry this afternoon - the camera enjoyed the outing and the swans were prepared to dance for me!
