DDW's November Challenge Day 3: "Empty"

Our lounge at around 08:00 this morning. Empty as it is pretty much every morning when I go downstairs as I am usually the first one up. The light was shining through the hall window and trough the open door creating a nicely lit scene; serene and quiet, hence the choice of Song.

Had an unexpected breakfast in Hitchin yesterday as we went to London a little later than planned. Pitcher & Piano this time, where we had lunch on Wednesday. Had high expectations of this place, but it disappointed. They were late opening. In fact, they only opened the doors, and somewhat reluctantly at that, when they spotted us standing outside. It was just after 10:30, so its not like we were unusually early. Also, food quality was average at best, the worst bit being barely cooked streak bacon! I'm OK with streaky bacon, but it has to be well cooked to render the fat down and crisp it up and I don't expect it on a breakfast costing £7.95. I think this may well see them drop to the bottom of the league table.
