A Day At A Time.

Gorgeous

The high point (or rather the lowest point) of our little trip to Ronda was when we descended deep into El Tajo gorge itself. A narrow, damp staircase led forever downwards through the inside of the rock face the entire 100 m to the valley floor. Built by the Moors, this was supposedly part of a mine, but today serves to connect street level of the town of Ronda with the river flowing through the gorge below.

As we emerged from the staircase, we found ourselves by a pool, almost hidden from the town by a bend in the river. Just a a small part of an hotel was visible above. The climb back to the top was a good workout too.

And so home again to find Buster back from his sleepover with Aunty Sal and all well with the world as we left it.

Hope all is well in yours too.
