Empty

It’s been very windy since last night. I took advantage of the combination of that wind and a lovely blue sky to get sheets dried outside on the washing line. Bonus!!!

The wind has been seeing off the last of the leaves that were clinging on. We now have mostly empty branches with nothing but the promise of next year’s leaves all scrunched up in those buds. Hatches battened for the Winter.
