Leap of Faith

Fabulous weather today, such a blue sky. We decided to head up to the Buchanty Spout in Perthshire to see the Salmon leaping. The Spout is a dramatic pothole and powerful waterfall on the River Almond its fantastic to see the spectacle of leaping wild Atlantic salmon fighting their way up through the gushing torrents, determinedly pressing on to reach their spawning grounds upstream. We thought it may be a bit too late for this year. But like buses after along wait they all seemed to come along at once.
