A Woodland Walk

It was not too bad a day today, so we went for a woodland walk. The beauty of this carpet of leaves is they are here all year round.They fall every year and the depth of leaf carpet grows and grows. There must be lots of good leaf mold here! It would be a job to get it home though, so best to just enjoy it!
