Goose squadron

A squadron of geese landing noisily if somewhat untidily on wetland in La Vega. I think these are the ashy headed geese, which have been flying around in large numbers this morning. It’s interesting to see how they use their webbed feet to ‘brake’ as they come in to land.

English name: Ashy-headed Goose
Argentine Name: Cauquen Real
Latin classification: Chloephaga poliocephala

Shot: La Vega, San Martin de Los Andes, Argentina, 31 October 2013
