Fearless.......!

After climbing all 311 stairs of a spiral staircase to reach the viewing platform at the top of The Monument, Sophia wasn't at all phased by the height and even suggested "we could go down this way now." She is just magic!

Big brother, who is in Year 2 now, and will be studying The Great Fire of London next term, was less convinced this was the way to get down again, but has done all his preparation and had all the answers and knows Samuel Pepys almost personally!

In the evening I had the privilege of a ticket to go with friends to the Royal Albert Hall and listen to their granddaughter play her violin with the Truro Youth Orchestra, and to listen to the massed voices of Cornish male voice choirs.

And in between we visited Harrods and were just amazed at their Food Hall displays!

A very long and full day and I am very tired but its all been GOOD, and I had lots of blip possibilities but this little lady won...
