Better day

Managed to finish planting my tubs and transferring the geraniums to the greenhouse today, even though there are tomatoes still ripening in the greenhouse! So all in all the garden is set for winter although the grass could do with just one more cut but it is still wet and a bit muddy in places thanks to the Gypsy girl (my dog) charging around.
Walked up to Carisbrooke castle this morning with Gypsy seeing as rain kept away, as you can see both the cannons is a sure sign of the trees losing their leaves not surprised as there has been high winds the last couple of days.
Visited my sister this afternoon too and she shared her homemade carrot cake with me....loaded with calories but was yummy...Thats my day.
