Meg with a moustache

It felt very odd for Guy to be seeing me off to work at the crack of dawn - it's usually the other way round. It felt very nice to be picked up at the end of my shift though.

There were bonfire plans, for my lad is named for Guy Fawkes(!), but the wind did roar and the rain did lash. So we opted for curry, warmth and a film.

To encourage Guy's moustache efforts I got these pen toppers as an inspirational reminder to keep going. Useful for fun in your pyjamas. I have insisted that he use them at work. Guy took this photo.
