A dreary day in more ways than one...

I was speaking at a breakfast this morning for one of the ladies groups in Cookstown - it was a terrible drive there, bucketing down rain. We had a good breakfast though and then I did my speaking!! I enjoyed it.

Afterwards I went to meet a friend as we were going to visit another friend and ex Malawi colleague M who had been admitted in hospital. Before we got to the hospital, my friend told me that M in the hospital had a brain tumour. She didn't want to tell me before the breakfast in the morning! What do you say to that? Its been a difficult day. We went to visit in the hospital and now all we can do is pray that the tumour will be able to be removed or treated!

I was quite upset when I came home from the hospital - I think it was a combination of my friends sudden news and also my feeling lost at the minute! So it was definitely a dreary day in more ways than one!
