Locked Up Love

Every Sunday on my morning walk to the bakery I cross the Vista Bridge, more commonly known as "The Suicide Bridge". Recently the bridge was covered with an unsightly barrier to stop people from jumping. The last couple of times I have walked across the bridge I have noticed the appearance of these locks, and it got me thinking about the longevity of the locks versus the relationships. I bet the locks will be there a lot longer than most couples will be together! Today I am thankful for my locked up love of 43+ years!!
