Fireworks (for want of a better title)

A family weekend this weekend as it is my dad's birthday in a few days. We went to a firework display in Nottinghamshire. I took along my camera to try my hand at photographing fireworks, but wasn't too hopeful about getting anything since I have broken my second hand tripod (something that is ow sure to appear on my Christmas present wish list). Anyway, I played with an exposure of around 1 second and a aperture of F8.

I ended up with a few shots that I wasn't too displeased with. Here is one of them.
