Rainbow near Scotch Corner

What a journey. Packing the car, we noticed a puncture. Delayed an hour getting it repaired. Torrential rain, held up nearly half an hour with roadworks. And this was all before we crossed the Border.

The rains continued, but as we crossed west to east over the A66, the most stunning rainbows. We made it .... just in time.

Happy, celebratory time with the family in North Yorkshire. We've made lots of new friends this weekend.
