Sunny Disposition

Today was sunny and what a welcome relief from the dismal days of past. I had an inclination to post a blip of the same scene as yesterday but with lots of sunshine and the glowing red of the maples....but the pileated woodpecker won out. Even tho' it's not the best shot, they usually don't stay still for very long. This one did. It is a young male as evidenced by the red "mustache", the female has a black one. It was also very hungry and stayed at the suet cake for quite a while even with me hovering about. Hope your weekend was as special as mine.
