Hooded Merganser

I haven't been to the pond in a while, so I stopped by today. I love our Hooded Mergansers - don''t know how common they are elsewhere, so thought I'd post this even thought they were a bit out of range. I may go back tomorrow and see if I can get a sharper image.

Hope you all had a great weekend. Tuesday is Election Day, so a holiday for me and I took tomorrow off, so I have the wonderful joy of a four-day weekend.
