"Colourbreak"
Those of you who have followed me for a while will be aware I love roses. I have many in my garden I love- "Crepuscule"- a wonderful climber/rambler/go anywhere. "Peace"- my mother's favourite. "Dublin Bay"-such a gorgeous red....I could go on..... Today's blip is a favourite for its unusual colour. It is a russet brown with lovely dark green leaves. This McGredy floribunda is the best-know and most widely-available brown rose—and with good reason. It has everything going for it: vigor, generous bloom production, beautiful, substantial, and extremely glossy leaves, and considerable disease resistance.
PS...it is a beautiful day here in the garden city, 22' ,little wind.
PPS I was unaware of LeeAnn's Colour Challenge for November. Today is brown........
