What a Wonderful World
What a Wonderful World is the wonderful song our monthly cello group lesson worked on tonight with our patient and enthusiastic teacher, Megan (at left).
The group lessons are split between youngsters and adults. What you see here is the 30 minute overlap session between the two groups. Megan found a wonderful arrangement of What a Wonderful World with six cello parts. My part (on stand at bottom left) consists of pizzicato triplets for about 98% of the time and I love it!
If we can get ourselves coordinated, Megan's plan is to have us perform the piece for the church (St. John's Lutheran, Bellingham) during one of their December services.
