Demolition of the Hotel

As part of the redevelopment of Dundee's Riverside, the old Hilton Hotel is coming down to make way for it's centre piece; the bright 'n' shiny V&A Museum.

Much of the hotel that's left, is a single skin; facing the river and rising sun. As I stopped to take the pictureI was convinced they were about to pull one whole section of this single skin down. Waiting and readying myself for the great wall coming down, the collapsing wall and clouds of dust all highlighted and shot through with the blast of bright sun.
