Portrait practice...

Today me and Mr Dog spent about four hours experimenting with portrait shots and selfies. Can you imagine the amount of chicken chunks we got through? I have a couple of images of Alfred that I quite like, but chose this one as our blip for today. It was only intended to test out our positions and the composition isn't quite how I'd want it, but I love the expression on Alfred's face!
Last night, Mr K told me he's getting me a new lens for Christmas! One with an image stabiliser... I'm very excited about this, and although it's a bit early to be talking about Christmas presents, I now have weeks of happy anticipation before eventually getting the present itself! :-)
