The Forum Rome in the sunshine

Early start to get plane to Rome, arrived to the sun and heat. Dropped bags at hotel then headed to Vittorio Emanuele and got glass elevator to the top were you get a great view over the city. Down to Piazza del Campidoglio. were you over look the Forum. Next into the Forum which is huge and closed before we made it round it all. A well needed drink before going and seeing the Colasseum light up which was lovely. Up to see the Piazza Navona and the Trevi Fountain. Exhausted by now so back to hotel.
