Spotting a few whales ...

So, our last day in Boston - and we took to the seas! The day was beautiful - clear blue skies and calm seas. Perfect for a spot of whale watching!

It is late in the season, so it was touch or go to whether the trip would go ahead or if we would find any.

In fact we found 7!

We were just as excited as the kids and to see these mammals in their home environment was spectacular. I have put some extra shots of the whales
