Travelling and celebrating
Helle and I have been travelling home from the Nordic Championship today. It has been rainy and cold, but we have been celebrating our dogs' success at the Championship, so it has not really been bothering us.
When our dogs have done something spectacular, we always treat them to a Happy Meal from McDonalds. It is silly, but it is tradition and we have fun with it.
So on the way home today, we stopped at McDonalds and got Happy Meals for the dogs. We continued to the beach and took the dogs for a run and a swim - they loved it - and when we came back to the car, we gave them the Happy Meals. Ooohhh they were enjoying it :-D.
Hero also got lots of 'Well Done' presents for him Individual Bronze Medal. He got a lovely new Danish Flag bed (which he has to share with Biscuit), a stick toy and a new soft ball... just the kind of ball that Hero loves.
The dogs have also eaten ox ears and some other chews. They have really been spoilt today!
You can see Hero's performance here! His routine starts 1 hour, 34 minutes and 55 secs into the video.
Thank you for all of your congratulations and well wishes. I am so proud of my boys. Woooohooooo Nordic Championship Team Winners and Individual Bronze. It really is amazing. I know Hero is getting the most attention due to his individual placing, but I am equally proud of Biscuit.
