Tooting Lido changing booths

I wanted to show Frenchman Clement Huart the mad eccentricity of the English... Tooting Lido Swimming Club members who take to the pool all year round... even on Christmas Day at this open-air pool built on Tooting Common. Londoners can be proud of their parks... the verdant lungs of the city.
Clement said Paris doesn't have parks like this... but is blessed with beautiful wide avenues built in the 1870s when the city was transformed.
I love the multi-coloured booths, a timeless iconic image that evokes memories of similar twee English seaside huts... and we spent time trying to take panoramic photos ... only with the new iPhone option. Clement says the French are equally eccentric... swimming in the icy North Sea.
