How to exhaust a pair dogs!

After Saturday's enforced idleness because of the persistent rain Sunday was a very energetic day. The first walk of the day was round Littleburn, which is a beautiful wooded area with a little burn running through the middle of it, hence the name! The dogs love it as they usually meet some of their friends to chase up and down the steep slopes and through the stream.

The next outing was a "Puppy Play Date" at the Ferry Point in Dingwall. Poppy had to stay in the car as she cannot disguise herself as a puppy any more but Bud did qualify and he had a brilliant time. There were about a dozen puppies and their owners, ranging from a Newfoundland puppy to a 5 month old jack russell. It was such fun, all the puppies got on really well, some tried swimming for the first time and others just hurtled around chasing each other.

After the "Play Date" we went on to Maryburgh Woods so that Poppy could have a good run. Its a beautiful spot, deciduous trees this time which I prefer at this time of the year.

The final walk of the day was at Chanonry Point, just as it was getting dark.
An exhausting day for all of us.
