St Mary's, Appleton

Bright unforgiving sunshine today. Decided to try varying exposures and a polarising filter to quieten the bright sky and resurrect some drama in this old ruin.

I converted the image to BW, put it on top of the colour image and reduced the opacity of the upper layer slightly to let a tiny hint of colour show through.
