After the Storm

Yesterday we had wind driven rain and one downpour after another. We had been planning on going out to the lake with my #2 daughter, her husband, my #4 (momsrachel) daughter and her dog Danny Boy, my husband (Orygon Home Boy) and I. Best laid plans and all that. Today, my daughter and her husband had to leave but when we woke up the world was a beautiful place so we all drove out to the lake where we have a newly acquired but old beat up pontoon boat. We spent a lovely morning altogether cruising around the lake. There wasn't a ripple on the water and the clouds were so magnificent! It was a good day and not so hard to say goodbye after such a pleasant time! Hope everyone had a great Labor Day!
