Do you like my new earings?
The Wildlife Trust's flock of Beulah Speckled Face sheep are back at the nature reserve munching through the grass and scrub. They are a rare breed from the mountainous area in mid-Wales. We've actually got them in the same compartment as the Dexter cows at the moment and so far there doesn't seem to be any inter-species, racial or language conflict. In fact, they seem to be enjoying each other's company, along with two young Roe Deeer that are always with them when I arrive. This particular ewe is over-friendly and while I was doing some work on the fence today she was nibbling the bottom of my anorak and checking my pockets. This can get a bit annoying after a while, but I do like her eyes and her rather modern taste in jewellery.
