À la plage

I went with a co-worker and her husband to the lake today. It was a beautiful day and the beach was empty when we arrived at about 10:00 this morning. The water, which is usually still warm at this time of year, was ice cold, so none of us stayed in for very long. But it was great to get away for a few hours, and to get some sun and fresh air and lake water and sand.
