St Mary's Cathedral

The early start paid off for a walk in beautiful sunshine to this magnificent building. Unlike last week, A slept and E went to crèche. A woke during prayers and thought the lady behind us was playing peekaboo. After the service she thanked A for brightening her prayers, as it will be two years. This week since her husband died. I hope I never have to know the pain of being a widow.
Back home it was time for bacon rolls, cosy fires and cooking freezer fillers before a rather stressful Homeland!
