Heraldic

Another beautiful Autumn day. After a bit of writing up my assessment of the skeletons from Thursday and Friday, I walked beside the river to a shop where I knew that I'd be able to get an enamel badge of a Tiger Moth. It makes some kind of sense, honestly.

This grey heron (Ardea cinerea) was showing well; obviously auditioning for the part of an heraldic device ;)
