Miserable

Over a week now of scratchy squeaking instead of the usual highly varied range of conversational mews, miaows, purrs we have learned to interpret.

Plus gasping splutters coughs.

Vet last Thursday - hairball the most likely culprit but even 5 days of medicine hasn't shifted it.

It's a good thing, said older son as we left the vet's with lighter purse, we have the NHS for us!
