The Lantern Room

We may well have escaped last weekends great storm but there was quite a storm on the south coast last night. To witness it whilst sleeping staying in a lighthouse was a unique experience courtesy of No 2 son who arranged it all for us. There were 2 other couples also staying here and, would you believe it their children had also organised their stay!
I have put some other photos on my blipfolio but today's blip is of the Lantern Room which has been beautifully refurbished. The views from here are magnificent, rain or shine, this is looking west with Bognor Regis in the far distance.
After a wonderful breakfast we drove home through the glorious Sussex countryside and rounded off a lovely break by going to see the film Philomena. If this doesn't win an Oscar or three I'll be very surprised!
