Jenny Lind

A strange, disembodied set of train wheels on a disused railway bridge in the Greenway, a path running through disused railway lands in Brighton's New England quarter.

It's the first part of a major installation by local metalworker and artist Jon Mills - a two-dimensional model of the steam locomotive Jenny Lind. Jon Mills has been working on this for some time but the wheels were put in place last weekend. When finished the artwork will have a commanding position on the disused viaduct overlooking Brighton's busy New England quarter.
