'Hike with the kids'
This morning after breakfast we all went for the hike to Macleods Lookout, about a 2 and a half kilometre return trip. When we arrived home last night I asked Bella what her favourite part of camping was and she said the walk we went on. Lots of huge rocks, views, caves, vegetation to explore along the way. She did very well as it was probably the biggest walk she'd ever done all on her own.
Also the wind was blowing pretty hard this morning.
When we arrived back at camp we decided to go for a drive to Wedderburn, a small gold mining town established back in the 1800's. There wasn't much going on around these parts, so we had some lunch at the local fish n chips shop, grabbed a couple of things to cook up for dinner and breakfast tomorrow and headed back to camp.
Bella and I headed up to the Melville Caves lookout at dusk to see what sort of sunset we'd have tonight. Not as spectacular as Friday night, but still nice.
