Resting on the Bridge

Had a chance to travel to Blackheath about 80 Kms west of Sydney to visit the Rhododendron Gardens that are at their best during October and November.
The Azaleas in the gardens were past their "use by date" as the mild winter had allowed them to bloom earlier than usual, however the Rhododendrons were at their best.
Because Blackheath is around 1000 Metres above sea level, these gardens are probably one of the best in Australia for these shrubs.
