A Daliesque Landscape

The tide was coming in fast but this has to be one of the most surreal places I have ever been to. Difficult to capture it in one image but it really was like walking about in a Salvador Dali painting. It is a petrified forest alternately covered and then revealed by the tides. Later in the day Penguins return to their burrows .... now that must look very strange indeed!
