Stockton Bridge and the wetlands
I thought I would go over to Stockton tonight looking for a blip. Not really happy with anything I took. This was the last stop at the wetlands which is a bit of a bird sanctuary just to the north of the bridge and on the short of the North Arm of the Hunter river. Lots and lots of shorebirds including pied oystercatchers, curlews, herons, pelicans, quackers (probably teals) and other little nondescript jobbies as a vet friend of mine used to call birds of uncertain origins. Not much time for browsing tonight I am sorry. Huge plans afoot for the end of November. All will be revealed soon!!!
