View from the Van

Another good day mooching about on the beach. Mr EG tried to teach Lorraine, Wayne and Jo to surf and the rest of us helped to smash up some of the boys trucks and plastic boats (there is a reason why adults shouldn't play with kids toys) by tying kites to them etc.

Went out for dinner but the weekend crowds had descended so we ended up in the locals pub - the only place we were likely to get a table before 10pm due to the very unwelcoming staff and horrible food! Still, we made a night of it and stuck it out until midnight when the landlady chucked us out in the rain. Brrr!
