watching dry paint

here's a scene in which the filters have already been applied. A ubiquitous tag crudely blotted out, except for a nicely placed flourish- a bit of censorship, as ugly as the tag it hides. Some mismatched paint, a layer of rust, some stencils.
I've seen this power pole a lot lately. It's on the way home, and I think its graphic quality is strong. I realised that because I kept noticing it, so it must be saying something to me, or at least to my sense of aesthetic. It has enough to tell a story, maybe, and enough to have a tone of enigmatic practicality.

It has also helped me focus away from an incredibly stressful week, believe it or not.
