Where have all the almonds gone
As there seems to be a shortage of ground almonds at the moment I have had to find another grandma/mum recipe to use to make "Light moist lunch loaves" as I give quite a few away between now and end of December instead of Christmas presents.
I found a recipe that uses evaporated milk so had a go last night, cut it in half this morning and result looks good and the taste test went down ok with the family.
As you can see I cheat with the tin lining now a days and buy ready prepared liners.
