Student's accommodation.......

..... at least for the students who belong to the 'gifted students' foundation "Stiftung Maximilianeum" '.......

King Maximilian II started the project in 1857 and from the 1870 gifted students from Bavaria and Pfalz got a full scholarship.... and are living until today in the buildings that belong to the Maximilinaeum (nowadays mostly in some extensions in the back)

From 1949 on the 'Bayerische Landtag' (the 'parliament') is also a tenant of the building ......

Don't you think any of this is could count as crazy...???
