All Saints Day

Today was my first 1st November celebration. The Polish name for this day actually translates to 'The Day of the Dead People', but is not quite so sinister as it sounds! It is a day where families come together and visit the graves of loved ones who have passed away. We had the opportunity take part in this celebration through a visit to the graves of Polish 'National Heros' at Powazki Cemetary in Warszawa.
