6 weeks old - Daddy's Girl

This makes my heart melt :)

A steady journey home saw us back at 1pm in time for my Doctor's appointment - all good following the birth, I was given a clean bill of health.

When I got back Simon's mum was round - she was round within an hour of our return, to be fair I thought she would be here after a quarter of an hour, so she did well to hold off for an hour....although I did delay telling her of our return until we had unloaded the car! Three loads of washing have been done but I still have a half full basket AND my mum had done two loads for us while we were down there!

We are all unpacked, the car valeted, eBay parcels posted, online food shop done for tomorrow and dinner consumed. We are now in the snug with a roaring fire and just about to bath Minnie before her last feed of the night...last night she wanted to party from 3am till 5am - no crying just lots of kicking and punching of the air in in her bed, all well and good but neither of us slept whilst she was doing this so we look like death!

Tomorrow I am popping to the baby clinic to have Minnie weighed first thing and then heading to Birmingham airport to meet a friend for lunch before she flies to Ireland. Simon is at the hospital for ultra sound treatment on his tennis elbow too.

I will sleep like a baby tonight, lets hope Minnie does too :)
