Tired

After a horrible day yesterday where I ended up phoning in sick to work because I had been up most of the night with a snotty inconsolable baba, today was the complete opposite. Brooke slept great last night and was good today for gran and daddy whilst I was at work. She's just in such a funny phase at the moment. Favourite words are no, more and again! Hide and seek was introduced and was a huge hit and provided some much needed giggles :) She also played a game with her gran today which involved an elaborate set up of mega blocks, her knocking on the door and then knocking down all the bricks! This was repeated several times. She also now chooses her books before bed with her favourites being ider (incy wincy spider), moon (giraffes can't dance) and ocodile (a touchy feely jungle animals book). Brooke can now point to most of the animals in her book and call them by name with crocodile, raf (giraffe) and raa raa (anything resembling a lion or tiger!) being her favourites. She now gets green and blue right most of the time when pointing at colours and can identify a, o, m and the number 8 from her foam bath letters/numbers. She is always trying to change her teddy and dolls by lying them down on her mat and giving them a wipe then spreading a nappy over them - this cracks us up every time! Today she actually picked up the nappy said right, pointed to the mat and said bum then looked at me with this determined little look that was just completely me! She just amazes me more and more every day :)
