Underwhelmed

We've lived in Cambridge for 25+ years but had never been to the central fireworks display - mainly because I'm not comfortable in crowds. Instead we've been to the displays at nearby Sawston, and nearish-by Saffron Walden.

This year we ventured into Cambridge, with 19,995 others.

It was OK, but I came away with the distinct feeling of "Is that it?". My memory, as vague a tool that that is, thinks that Saffron Walden's display was at least comparable and distinctly better choreographed.
