We had lunch at Cracker Barrel, a Southern style American restaurant always located near the highway. The row of rocking chairs is a signature item on their front porch. One wanders through the merchandise in the 'Country Store' before being ushered into the restaurant. Menu items include Southern American favourites such as catfish, fried chicken, dumplings, cornbread, biscuits, and grits . I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy, cornbread and turnip greens. No room for dessert!
