Busted

Broken padlock from my garage that was broken into last night. Nothing gone and a nice new lock courtesy of the police (very cute young wpc made giving a statement a pleasure). Brief panic about the car but it's fine.

Strange day; rush to get to a meeting with current holder of European Citizens Prize who we disarmed by giving him what he wanted... Turns out he knew my dad a little back in the 50s. Then sorted some work, met new Comms person and headed to Panel, which went much better than it might have, then Parents eve, where Floss is apparently a delight to teach and doing really well. Reassured about homework quantity too. Part 2 on Thursday. Good gym session and then a tidy round.

A better Tuesday than most.
