An unintended blip
What I intended for today's blip was a chickadee or nuthatch or another one of my bird friends that I haven't blipped for months, since the trees leafed out in fact. I actually did capture a few chickadee pictures today, the first ones this fall, but none of them was sharp enough to please me. So instead of chickadees, you get another entry in the dogs and their people collection. Compare it to yesterday's blip, and you will see that dogs, like people, come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and personalities. These two beautiful beasts are dogo argentinos, a very different breed from the pretty little beagle I captured yesterday. Like little Tommy, yesterday's dog, they are affectionate and friendly, at least as long as they don't feel you are a threat to them or to Steve, their owner. Fortunately I am considered a friend by Layla (6) and Krypto (8). They will run up to say hello when we meet in the park, and I am always glad to see them. And like Corrine, yesterday's person, Steve loves his dogs. In the dog world, just like with humans, love trumps everything else...except maybe dog treats!
