The moon and Venus(?)

Google tells me this is Venus. Therefore it is.

Productive day at work. Mostly non-work related. Beginning with sorting out photo booth for wedding next year (something my other boss has been nagging me to do for ages).

Followed by a call from a recruitment agency that submitted my resume to biotech company about a contract R&D position through aug next year. A hefty salary but obv only temping. With the possibility of permanent employment afterwards I would go for it. That or some actual industrial experience on my resume. Anyway, a face to face interview beckons this Thursday.

That was swiftly followed by a good phone interview with hr manager for sales associate position at big biotech sales company. A junior entry level position with a modest pay increase. But home based and company car driving round San Diego and orange counties. Big scope for promotion both within and outside the company once I get sales experience under my belt. I have to fill in an online assessment prior to resume being sent to hiring managers. Multiple choice q's along the lines of "are you a tortoise or a hare?", "red or blue?". Typical business bullsh*t but I guess I will have to get used to it in the corporate world. Would pick this job over the other one but beggars can't be choosers.

Also received a new iPhone. Only the 5 not the S and def not the C. Didn't want to pay extra $200 for a fingerprint scanner and faster processor when my trusty 4s does the job currently. Hate the zany colors of the C so a nice black 5. Out of contract and switching providers to monthly deal and less than half of what I was paying previously.
